You will need to completely fill out and submit my questionnaire in order to be considered for a puppy.\u00a0 I place all of my Golden Retriever puppies with a spay\/neuter contract and an AKC limited registration.\u00a0 Limited Registration means that the dog is registered but no litters produced by that dog are eligible for registration.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

We do not have any puppies available at this time.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

We raise our Golden Retriever puppies in our home.\u00a0 For the first three weeks the mother takes care of the puppies in our bedroom.\u00a0 As a result, the mothers are able to relax knowing that she and her puppies are totally safe.\u00a0 Furthermore, we mark all of the puppies with non-toxic fabric paint.\u00a0 Golden Retriever puppies can be very similar in appearance.\u00a0 Hence, marking them with paint allows us to easily chart the development of each pup.\u00a0 As well, we can tell each puppy apart when giving medications such as puppy wormer.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

From 3 to 16 days of age, we do “Early Neurological Stimulation”<\/a> on the Golden puppies.\u00a0 The benefits noted are:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Improved cardio vascular performance (heart rate)<\/li>\n
  2. Stronger heart beats<\/li>\n
  3. Stronger adrenal glands<\/li>\n
  4. More tolerance to stress<\/li>\n
  5. Greater resistance to disease<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    In addition to the early stimulation, we handle and cuddle with the puppies throughout the day.\u00a0 This is one of the most rewarding parts of being a breeder.<\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

    We move the Golden puppies to their own room between 3 and 3.5 weeks of age.\u00a0 This allows the puppies more space.\u00a0 Therefore, we can introduce them to a much wider variety of toys, surfaces, tunnels, slides, etc.\u00a0 The Golden Retriever puppies also begin litter box training.\u00a0 The puppies quickly learn to eliminate in the box instead of just randomly on the floor.<\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

    Between 4 and 6 weeks we begin having visits from the families who will be taking home a puppy.\u00a0 The puppies love meeting new people.<\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

    At 5 weeks of age we begin taking the pups outside for further adventures.\u00a0 We continuously add and remove items from their play yard so that the environment is constantly changing.\u00a0 We start feeding the puppies in individual bowls on the covered porch.\u00a0 The result is that the puppies quickly learn to potty in the yard.\u00a0 By the time the Golden pups are 8 weeks old they will have developed a preference for eliminating on grass.<\/p>\n

    We will evaluate our Golden Retriever puppies for conformation at 8 weeks of age.\u00a0 Also, our vet will examine each puppy.\u00a0 Then, each puppy will receive their first vaccination.\u00a0 It is after this time that the puppies begin to go home to their new families.<\/p>\n
